Community is paramount to a healthy spiritual life. At Tusculum, we are intentional about finding ways for people to connect with fellow Christ followers.
The best way to find connection is through our Life Groups. We have found that meeting in small groups creates an environment in which people can share their lives and hearts on a more intimate level. Tusculum is blessed with several Life Group leaders who open their homes for Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and a good meal. Life Groups often meet on Sunday evenings, but some groups meet on Saturdays or on a weeknight. Some groups meet to hike, fish, bowl, play games, or go on bike rides. All of these activities encourage fellowship and connection.
Tusculum has thriving men’s and ladies’ ministries. Both groups have weekend retreats and Bible studies. The men have golf outings, cookouts, Saturday morning breakfasts, and other opportunities to connect with other men.
Our ladies have a monthly event called Friends Friday, which is a great way for women to meet and get to know each other better. These events are often centered around a service project or craft. The elders’ wives have an annual ladies’ breakfast, which is a wonderful event.
Men and women who are 49 or older make up our 49ers group. This group meets several times a year for fellowship and fun activities. They sometimes go on field trips to see a musical production or to eat catfish out in the country.
Once or twice a year, Tusculum hosts Financial Peace University, which is a great way to learn ways to find financial stability alongside other members and some people from the community.
Our children and teens are given many opportunities to connect through Tusculum Kids and Tusculum Youth Ministry. Please check out those links on this website.
As you can see, Tusculum places a high value on connections with each other. You are welcome to join us in our fellowship!
